Data Suites is not that. We’re a locally owned, debt-free data center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee — built by people who live here, for the businesses, schools, and families who live here too. Here’s what makes a hometown data center different.

We started to bring fiber home — not to chase a deal

Back in 2015, large parts of Rutherford County simply weren’t connected. Affordable fiber was something other places had. We didn’t build Data Suites to flip a tax incentive — we built it to bring more fiber into the county so that schools, homes, and local businesses could finally get fast, affordable internet, or in many cases any internet at all. Laying that groundwork meant the whole community got access to better connectivity, not just the data center.

Green by design — closed-loop, food-grade, heat-reusing

Sustainability isn’t a marketing line for us; it’s engineered into the building.

Closed-loop water cooling. Our cooling runs on a sealed, closed-loop system — water isn’t consumed and discharged the way evaporative hyperscale cooling burns through millions of gallons a year.
Non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze. The fluid in our loop is the same food-grade glycol used in restaurant kitchens — non-toxic and safe for people and the environment, with none of the hazardous chemistry of industrial coolants.
We reuse our heat. The heat our equipment produces isn’t just blown into the sky — we capture and reuse it to help heat the building.
Consolidation shrinks the footprint. By consolidating the compute of many local companies under one highly efficient roof, we actually lower total power consumption compared with each business running its own inefficient server room — and compared with the sprawl of giant, far-away data centers.

Zero tax dollars. Zero incentives. Debt-free.

Hyperscale data centers routinely arrive with enormous tax breaks and public incentive packages. Data Suites took none. Not one tax dollar and not one tax incentive has gone into this facility, and we are completely debt-free. That independence means our only obligation is to our customers and our community — not to outside investors or a payback clock.

Anchoring local jobs and local business

Data has gravity. The businesses that employ thousands of people across our region need somewhere reliable, local, and secure to keep their data — and many of them would not have located or stayed here without it. By giving local employers a trusted place to host their systems, a hometown data center helps keep those jobs, and the growth that comes with them, right here at home.

Ten years of backing schools and nonprofits

For more than a decade, we’ve supported local schools and nonprofits — because a hometown data center should act like part of the hometown. The same infrastructure that powers regional business also quietly backs the organizations that serve our community.
